Denelle Keeler joined the firm in August 2006 as George’s Executive Assistant. At that time, Denelle had accumulated more than 20 years of corporate experience in positions ranging from accounting and administrative functions to human resources. This broad general background provided an excellent entrée into George’s aviation practice. Since that time, Denelle has become an integral part of George’s practice as she quickly adopted a penchant to always strive to provide excellent client service. Denelle directly interfaces with the firm’s clients on a broad range of issues and is always received well by our clients in that regard.
As George’s assistant and because our practice is primarily involved in business aviation consulting, Denelle has developed a significant skill set in the areas of SIFL calculations, cost disallowance calculations related to personal entertainment use of corporate owned aircraft, and is intimately familiar with the integral details of an occupied seat hour spreadsheet. A significant component of our aviation practice is assisting clients in legally qualifying their aircraft purchases for exemption from sales and use tax in California and other western states. Accordingly, Denelle has become very knowledgeable and proficient in this particular area of our practice and handles most of the day to day details in the preparation of our filings with the Board of Equalization. Denelle is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and directly interfaces with our clients that require bookkeeping and accounting services including the back office function for George’s practice.
In her time away from the office, Denelle enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, outdoor activities such as hiking, jogging, kayaking and bike riding.
